About the band

Brassens, irreverent and complicit.

Georges Brassens, the self-styled "pornographer of the phonograph", made it his own with mischief and joy. Les Pornographes carry the torch: hundreds of concerts in halls and festivals across France and Switzerland, three albums (Les Pornographes chantent Brassens, vols. 1 & 2, and the Live au Théâtre de la mer), regular radio appearances and "Concerts for those in lockdown" viewed tens of thousands of times.

A show for every age, every ear, for anyone who savours pretty words, delicate melodies and the simplicity of music as it used to be made.
